Best way to learn Spanish online or by book?

Book will not help you. Try to go to your local library and borrow some spanish fiction or nonfiction audiobooks. They’re free. You can’t get good deals like that. Good luck.
I would suggest you get one of the downloadable courses listed here
and also get a tutor or language exchange partner. You might be able to find one on Craigslist.
