I want to learn to speak Chinese, is there a website that offers lessons or a course that I can download to my laptop?

There are two courses I can recommend, one is a download the other is a CD course that will be posted to you.
The first is Rocket Chinese which comes with 31 interactive audio lessons as well as grammar and Chinese writing lessons. There are two versions, the download version costs $99.95 and the hard copy which is a twenty CD pack costs £299.95. There is also a money back guarantee with this course.
The second course I can recommend is the Chinese Mandarin Comprehensive I Course. The reason I have included this course is because Pimsleur are highly respected when it comes to language courses, but, there is not a lot of info on their website regarding the contents of the course and there is no mention anywhere on their site about a money back guarantee which shouldn’t put you off this course because of their reputation, but if it were me buying a pimsleur course I would contact them via email for more detailed info before buying.
