dont live there but i will tell you ways i have found . on the web there is learn spanish website and pod cast thru the zune player which is free. our libraries in the states will have language programs on tape computer or some other media. ive found that listening to german or spanish musicians helps familiarize you with vocabulary. for a fun way to learn try watching movies with spanish or german language or subtitles. ive tried rosseta stone thru my library and it was user friendly. there is also opencourseware.com which is a site that has free college courses including language it might be too hard but its free. i certainly would ask your librarian . having friends or in my case a girlfriend that speaks german and spanish helps a lot
The Toronto District School Board offers language classes for elementary and intermediate age students. When I was in grade school we called it “Saturday School.” They currently do not offer Spanish, but German is available at a few schools.
The Toronto Catholic District School Board offers a similar program that includes Spanish.
