Will Learning To Speak French Spoil My Spanish?
I have a keen interest in languages and I can speak Spanish fluently. I now want to start learning French but I don’t want ruin all the work I have done learning to speak Spanish. Is there anyway I can continue to learn French without worrying about loosing my Spanish skills?
If you are fluent in Spanish there shouldn’t be a problem. Of course you have to keep up your Spanish listening and speaking. You obviously know what’s involved in learning to speak another language so it seems to me that you just need enough Spanish content to keep your abilities while learning to speak French.
Here are a few suggestions. You can watch Spanish movies or television, you should be able to easily rent DVDs with Spanish content. Contact Spanish websites and email them in Spanish. Try Yahoo Answers Spain and ask questions in Spanish and answer questions in Spanish. Finally buy yourself a Spanish learning course and transfer all the audio files to MP3 or CD player for use in your leisure time. You don’t need to spend a fortune on a course because you already know the language.
Try these two Spanish courses and keep your Spanish skills safe.
